The goal of this collaborative is to increase the impact of school-based health centers (SBHCs) on advancing early childhood development and third grade readiness for children in the region by:
- Establishing a vision to promote student success by the third grade in partnership with schools, medical providers, and community organizations.
- Sharing strategies with medical providers and educators to support at-risk students from kindergarten to third grade.
- Helping school health staff engage parents and children to promote early childhood academic success.
We welcome early childhood providers from both Tulare and Fresno Counties to join with SBHCs from the Central Valley to participate in this collaborative. Learn more about this project here.
