Revenue Generation

For more information on maximizing revenue generation, please see our guide for school-based health centers on Maximizing Third-Party Reimbursement.

FPACT

Orientation to FPACT can be billed if it happens in the health center or in a room that shares the address with the health center – either as a group (billing code S9446) or individually (billing code S9445).

Individual visits for all reproductive health services can be billed to FPACT using billing codes 99401U6 to 99403U6 or 99201 to 99204.

FPACT visits can be conducted by a licensed provider or a health educator under the supervision of a medical provider.

Medi-Cal

Individual screening visits can be billed to Managed Care or Minor Consent Medi-Cal under the minor’s consent if the visit happens in the health center, the visit is with a licensed provider, and reproductive health content is covered.
