Hinds Hospice Survivors of Suicide Loss & the LOSS Team: Suicide Prevention & Postvention

Those who have lost a loved one to suicide are at higher risk for death by suicide. The goal of the Fresno Survivors of Suicide Loss and Local Outreach to Survivors of Suicide (LOSS) programs is to provide support to survivors as a way of further preventing suicide deaths in families and communities. During this session, Candice Wilkins will describe the history of these programs and their support services and share effective strategies for suicide prevention through postvention.
